Head of Sales

Requirements

Mandatory:

– At least 5 years of experience in sales management
– Fluent Russian and Serbian (both at a professional working level)
– Experience building sales funnels and working with CRM systems (Bitrix)
– Ability to sell personally — not only manage, but also close deals
– Willingness to work full-time in the office in Belgrade

Strong advantage:

– Experience in the furniture industry, interior design, construction, or finishing
– Understanding of custom furniture sales specifics: long sales cycle, project-based work, client expectation management
– Knowledge of the Serbian market and local client acquisition channels
– Experience working with designers and architects as a sales channel

Will be a plus:

– Experience launching a sales department from scratch
– English proficiency
– Experience using digital marketing tools

Key responsibilities

Strategy and planning:

– Developing a sales strategy: target segments, acquisition channels, pricing positioning
– Creating monthly and quarterly sales plans aligned with the production capacity of the workshop
– Analyzing the furniture market in Serbia and the region: competitors, pricing, demand trends
– Participating in the development of the marketing strategy together with management

Team management:

– Hiring, onboarding, and training sales managers (initially 1–2 people, growing to 3–4)
– Setting individual KPIs, monitoring performance, conducting weekly meetings
– Developing sales scripts, commercial proposal templates, and client presentations

Client management:

– Personally handling key and major deals
– Developing B2B channels: interior designers, architectural bureaus, developers, real estate agents
– Building a partnership network

Processes and analytics:

– Implementing and managing the CRM system (sales funnel, deal stages, conversion analytics)
– Weekly reporting to management: revenue, pipeline, conversions, average ticket, reasons for lost deals
– Coordinating with production regarding timelines, priorities, and workload
