Fleet Operator

A maritime shipping company, main areas of activity: stevedoring services, shipbuilding, offshore transshipment

Requirements

Mandatory:
• Higher maritime education (navigation department)
• Confident level of English (communication with captains and ports)

Advantages:
• Sea experience: as a Chief Officer, Navigator, or in similar positions
• Understanding of vessel operations, bunkering, and port formalities
• Experience in fleet operations is a plus, but training from scratch is possible — a maritime background is the key requirement!

Personal qualities:
• Clear communication skills and the ability to conduct professional business correspondence
• Stress resistance and ability to resolve conflict situations
• Willingness to develop in the maritime industry onshore

Key responsibilities

• Planning and calculation of vessel bunkering programs
• Operational control and monitoring of the company’s fleet
• Daily communication with vessel captains (correspondence, calls)
• Interaction with port agents and services
• Voyage coordination and handling operational issues
• Resolution of disputes and non-standard situations

Important: This is an office-based (onshore) position, but your maritime experience will be key to understanding real vessel operations!
