The job includes selling ready-made bakery products, pastries and cakes, preparing coffee, making freshly squeezed juices, packing orders and keeping the sales area clean and well organized.

This is primarily a customer-service and sales position. There is no baking or kitchen production involved.

Position

Bakery Sales Assistant / Counter Staff

The job includes selling ready-made bakery products, pastries and cakes, preparing coffee, making freshly squeezed juices, packing orders and keeping the sales area clean and well organized.

This is primarily a customer-service and sales position. There is no baking or kitchen production involved.

Responsibilities

– Serving customers and presenting bakery products
– Selling croissants, pastries, bread, cakes and other finished products
– Preparing espresso-based coffee and other hot drinks
– Making freshly squeezed juices
– Packing takeaway and delivery orders
– Handling payments and the cash register
– Restocking and arranging products in the display
– Keeping the counter, coffee station and customer area clean
– Following hygiene and food-safety standards
– Helping customers choose products and answering basic questions about ingredients and products

Requirements

Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Previous experience in a bakery, café, coffee shop, retail or hospitality is an advantage, but it is not mandatory for a serious candidate who is willing to learn.

We are looking for someone who is:

– Friendly and polite with customers
– Clean, organized and responsible
– Comfortable working with food and drinks
– Able to work efficiently during busy periods
– Careful with money and orders
– Willing to learn about our products
– Comfortable standing and working actively during the shift

Basic Serbian or English is useful for communication with customers and the team.

Experience with coffee preparation is a plus. Training can be provided.
