– 5+ years of commercial software development experience
– 3+ years of commercial experience with Go
– Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
– Strong knowledge of Go concurrency, including goroutines and channels
– Proven experience with production-grade gRPC microservices
– Strong PostgreSQL skills: schema design, query optimization and migrations
– Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
– Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs
– Experience with unit and integration testing
– Experience with Grafana and Prometheus
– Experience designing scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant systems
– Experience with complex integrations, ideally in FinTech, banking or other regulated industries
– Practical experience with AI implementation and configuration within a development team
– Understanding of idempotency, service reliability and SLA requirements
– Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
– English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
– Nice to have: experience in insurance or another regulated industry, as well as familiarity with GDPR, PCI DSS, insurance policies, underwriting and claims processes.
– Developing and maintaining backend services using Go
– Designing and evolving gRPC-based microservice architecture
– Building and maintaining REST/gRPC APIs
– Working with real-time data flows and event-driven architecture
– Designing and managing transactional data in PostgreSQL
– Implementing asynchronous workflows using Kafka or RabbitMQ
– Building integrations with core platforms and third-party services
– Developing solutions for high-throughput, highly available and fault-tolerant systems
– Writing unit and integration tests, particularly for business-critical and financial calculations
– Monitoring and observability using Grafana and Prometheus
– Participating in code reviews and architectural decisions
– Working closely with Business Analysts, QA and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment
– Contributing to the implementation and configuration of AI solutions within the development process
– 100% remote
– Fixed working schedule: 09:00–18:00 CET
– Long-term contract: 1 year with automatic renewal
– Hourly compensation, discussed individually based on experience and expertise
