I am a Structural and Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the development and coordination of high-voltage substation projects (35–330 kV). I have led design departments, managed multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and provided technical supervision from concept to project delivery. I bring a strong engineering background, hands-on experience with metal structure design and rigid busbar systems, and a deep understanding of industry standards and customer requirements. I am adaptable, highly organized, and motivated to contribute expertise to new engineering challenges.
Head of the HV lines and substations department.
The department consists of four divisions: electrical, construction, HV linear, and estimate subdivisions.
My responsibilities were:
• organizing the work of the department in accordance with the general schedule for fulfilling orders of the company, monitoring deadlines;
• control of technical decisions of the divisions that are part of the department, control of their compliance with the terms of reference and decisions of additional meetings;
• coordinating decisions with related departments, receiving and issuing assignments to related departments;
• holding and participating in meetings on design issues together with the customer, operation, construction contractors, etc.;
• participation in designer supervision;
• make initial pre-design inspection of reconstruction objects;
• participation in the state examination of design documentation, including Glavgosexpertiza, Moscow (Main State Expertise).
The total number of personnel in the department was about 45 people.
In the technical direction I was reasponsible for:
• layout solutions for switchgear: outdoor 35…220 kV and indoor
35…110 kV, using individual technical solutions;
• individual and unified supporting metal structures for installation of high-voltage equipment for switchgears, voltage 35…220 kV;
• metal structures for various purposes for use at substations (equipment maintenance areas, masts, portals, fences, etc.);
• various types of rigid busbars for outdoor and indoor switchgear
35…220 kV, its testing, accreditation and certification;
• block-modular buildings for the needs of the electric power industry.
In organizational, staffing and educational areas I was responsible for:
• preparation of methodological materials for personnel (department of the chief designer, production and technical department, production site);
• preparation of presentation materials on new types of products for the marketing and sales department;
• performing technical training for sales department employees;
• development of an enterprise standard in part of my division, and participation in the development of standards of related divisions.
