Business Analyst

Firebird is an international online travel company that organizes trips to Europe for customers from around the world. We have a dedicated software development department that focuses on our internal products that allow everyone else to deliver some of the top-notch, worldwide services. Currently, there are a number of commercially available projects in production that are being actively worked on:

Requirements

Requirements gathering, elicitation and documentation in close collaboration with stakeholders and development teams
Modeling (processes, integrations, etc)
Development team support (pre-dev, dev, QA)
Performing Business Review and acceptance testing
Business transition support (Q&A, improvements and bug fixes)

Key responsibilities

Understanding and knowledge of BA processes and standards (BABOK 3.0 – nice to have)
Understanding of a few elicitation techniques (interviews, workshows, analysis of existing documents, etc)
Experience of business analysis for SalesForce – nice to have
Knowledge of a few modeling notation (BPMN, UML, etc)
Data analysis skills – ability to find patterns (Excel)
Ability to use one of design/prototyping tools (e.g. Figma)
Task & Documentation management system knowledge (Jira / Confluence)
SQL / DBMS understanding (on basic level) – nice to have
Analytical & Critical thinking
Detail-oriented
Multitasking
Ability to get along with fast changing environment
Understanding and ability to adapt to SDLC
