Sonder is a coffee company with its own roastery and two cafés in Belgrade.
Our cafés are everyday places: morning coffee with pastries and breakfast, a quick snack or takeaway coffee during the day, and in the evening — a glass of wine with something to eat.
The food is simple and familiar — no complicated dishes or experimental presentations — just something you can enjoy every day. The menu is compact and changes frequently. It was created by Ivan Shishkin and is still curated by him.
The roastery is open to everyone — guests can observe every stage of the process from the café space. Coffee roasting is led by Maxim Saprykin (formerly of Bolshecoffee Roasters).
We also have a retail shelf: drip coffee bags, capsules, whole beans, granola, jams, and more that you can take home.
Founders: Klim Zhukov (Aster, Rene) and Evgenia Tolmacheva (former Verle Coffee Roasters employee).
At least 1 year of managerial experience in a relevant project within the hospitality industry is required.
High level of empathy and a natural sense of hospitality.
Willingness to take responsibility and make quick decisions.
Knowledge of service standards.
Solid understanding of the basics of wine and coffee.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Serbian will be a strong advantage.
Organize and lead the team during shifts.
Create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure excellent guest service.
Handle guest feedback and resolve conflicts.
Maintain cash handling discipline.
Ensure compliance with company standards, sanitation regulations, and safety procedures.
Follow the manager’s instructions and handle day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the café.
Assistance with obtaining a residence permit after successfully completing the probation period and formal employment.
