Company Fleet Operations Operator
A maritime shipping company. Main areas of activity: stevedoring services, shipbuilding, and offshore transshipment (at anchorage).
Requirements
Mandatory: • Higher maritime education (Navigation / Deck Officer program) • Confident English (communication with captains and ports)
Advantages: • Sea-going experience as a Chief Officer, navigation officer, or similar roles • Understanding of vessel operations, bunkering, and port formalities • Fleet operations experience is a plus, but we are ready to train from scratch — a maritime background is the key!
Personal qualities: • Strong communication skills and ability to handle business correspondence • Stress resistance and ability to resolve conflicts • Motivation to grow in the maritime industry ashore
Key responsibilities
• Planning and calculating vessels’ bunkering programs • Operational control and monitoring of the company’s fleet • Daily communication with vessel captains (messages, calls) • Liaising with port agents and port services • Voyage coordination and resolving operational issues • Handling disputes and non-standard situations
Important: This is an office-based (shore) role, but your sea experience will be crucial for understanding real-life vessel operations.
