Qualix DOO Beograd is operational hub based in Belgrade, where we are building a strong Sales & Operations Centre, while managing distributed international teams.
Mandatory: fluency in English and Russian
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, specifically in a Chief Accountant / Head of Accounting role
Proven experience managing accounting for international companies across multiple jurisdictions (at least 2–3), such as Europe (including Cyprus) and the United States
Strong hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
Experience managing an accounting team (currently 4 team members)
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Holded, Xero) and MS Excel, Google Sheets.
Experience with AMEX / VivaWallet / Checkout QuickBooks is preferred (not mandatory)
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Stratigic thinking to develop and implement financial plans
Ability to adapt to different cultures and work with diverse teams
Global Accounting & Reporting
Oversee accounting operations across all international entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial records
Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes across jurisdictions
Ensure alignment of accounting policies with IFRS and/or local GAAP, maintaining consistency where possible
Accounting reconciliations by companies, monthly invoice reconciliation for Group of companies (matching invoices with bank statements)
Coordinate with outsourcing accounting teams on closing-related activities and tax calculations
Verify the accuracy of data in quarterly and annual financial statements in all companies of the Group
Compliance, Tax & Governance
Ensure full compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction
Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting, working with local advisors
Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks
Multi-Entity & Cross-Border Coordination
Align accounting practices and reporting standards across multiple legal entities
Manage and oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing coordination
Act as the central point of coordination between finance teams in different countries
Financial Planning & Business Support
Provide services in Support the CFO/Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Provide insights into profitability, cash flow, and cost structures across international operations
Identify financial risks and recommend data-driven actions to support business decisions
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
Process Optimization & Systems
Drive standardization and automation of accounting processes across entities
Improve reporting efficiency and data quality through system enhancements
Ensure consistency in chart of accounts, reporting templates, and financial controls
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams across multiple locations
Ensure consistent performance standards, training, and knowledge sharing
Build a scalable finance function capable of supporting international growth
