Our requirements:
🗣️ Fluent Serbian (C1/C2) is critical. You will need to communicate with local buyers, understand the nuances of the market, and work with documentation in Serbian. 🏆 At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. We are looking for someone who has worked with FMCG (food products) and understands how procurement works in the Serbian retail market. 👤 Strong autonomy. You are able to set tasks independently and deliver results without needing a large team. 🪪 A valid driver’s license, as the role involves frequent travel.
Key responsibilities
What you will do:
🚀 Introducing products to retail chains: managing the full cycle from the first cold contact with a buyer to signing the contract and organizing the first shipment. 🗣️ Conducting negotiations: presenting the product, discussing commercial terms, and listing new items. 📊 Market analytics: monitoring competitors’ shelves, tracking prices and product availability. 🚗 Field visits: regular meetings with partners across Serbia to monitor product placement and strengthen relationships.
