We develop robotic solutions for the mobile device refurbishment market. Our robots automate diagnostics, condition assessment, and smartphone processing, and are already operating for clients in several countries. We are currently actively developing the next generation of the platform.
We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer who will take ownership of the entire hardware side of the product — from concept to engineering documentation. The role is independent (without direct subordinates), with the opportunity to mentor an engineer within the team.
– 3+ years of experience as a mechanical design engineer
– Confident CAD skills: Fusion 360 (preferred)
– Knowledge of ESKD standards and experience preparing production documentation
– Understanding of manufacturing technologies: turning/milling, sheet metal, 3D printing, plastic molding, laser cutting
– Willingness to work hands-on: independently assemble, debug, and test solutions
– Independence and ability to bring tasks to completion
– Finalization of the current robotic platform: mechanical improvements, fixing issues, preparation for sales
– Optimization of existing robots and platform unification: analysis of current designs, proposing simplifications and standardization of components
– Design of mechanical assemblies: device feeding systems, gripping systems, sensor and camera mounts
– Development of 3D models, assembly drawings, specifications, and BOMs
– Assembly, debugging, and testing of prototypes by hand
