Network Engineer & Information Security Specialist

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience with Cisco networking (certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are a plus).
Hands-on experience with Dell and Supermicro servers.
Strong proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies.
Solid understanding of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Proficiency in English at C1-C2 level (spoken and written).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key responsibilities

1.Network Design and Maintenance
Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks primarily using Cisco equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Optimize network architecture and policies to meet business and security requirements.
2. Server Management (Dell & Supermicro)
Install, configure, and maintain Dell and Supermicro servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
Implement best practices for server provisioning, upgrades, and patch management.
3. Virtualization (VMware)
Deploy and manage VMware-based virtual environments.
Optimize virtual infrastructure to ensure efficient use of resources and high availability.
Perform capacity planning and periodic performance assessments.
4. Information Security
Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
Manage firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
5. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security incidents, and technical procedures.
Provide regular reports on network performance, security posture, and incident resolution to management.
6. Collaboration and Support
Work cross-functionally with various departments, including IT, Operations, and Management.
Provide technical support and training to team members on network and security best practices.

About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer with strong Information Security expertise. In this dual-role position, you will design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure while ensuring the highest standards of information security. You will work closely with Dell and Supermicro servers, Cisco network equipment, and oversee virtualization solutions (VMware) as well as HCI infrastructure. Proficiency in English at the C1-C2 level is required to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
