My name is Elina Ghukasyan, I am a Motion Graphic Designer with 4+ years of experience in both Graphic and Motion Design, currently located in Belgrade, Serbia.
Let me tell you more about my experience. I started my career from a little print shop Printax located in Yerevan, Armenia, Armenia. I was doing illustrated prints for t-shirts and mugs, also creating social media posts with mockups and designs for sale.
After working there for 3 months, I got an offer from an Armenian Branding and Marketing agency called Digital Factory, where I was involved in both Branding and Marketing fields. I started as a Graphic Designer and became a Motion Designer. I was creating Social Media posts for different businesses such as banks, online shops, real estate agencies, spa and wellness centers, restaurants etc. Also I was making presentations for different companies’ brandings and was involved in logotype and brand identity creating processes. Furthermore, I had an experience of creating advertisement videos from scratch (storyboarding, frame designing, animating).
After those 2 wonderful years of experience of working with so many companies, and doing so many different designs, I got an offer from an American Company called Prequel Inc., located in Budva, Montenegro, which is a photo/video editing app listed in top 10 most popular apps in App Store and Play Market. I started to work there as a Senior Graphic Motion Designer. My job is creating photo/video content that showcases the app’s features and effects, as well as creating videos for App Store and Play Market about new features that appear in the application. Also I am involved in the process of scouting photo models for the app promotion, and writing scripts for videos considering the trends and the needs of the company.
And lastly, in addition to working for companies, in my free time I like to improve my skills doing typography animation based on music and song lyrics, and grow my instagram page where I post those animations, you can see my favorite ones in my portfolio.
