My name is Artem Kucherov, and I am a History and Social Studies Teacher with extensive experience in secondary education. I have worked for several years in academically strong schools in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and since 2023 I have been teaching History at Oxbridge International School in Tashkent.
During my work there, I have taught World and National History, Social Studies, and Civics-related courses. In addition, I designed and taught an English-medium Art History course for Grade 10 students, based on the AP Art History framework. English has been my primary language of instruction in the classroom.
As a teacher, I focus on discussion-based learning, critical thinking, and helping students connect historical knowledge with contemporary social and civic issues. I value interdisciplinary approaches and strive to create an engaging and intellectually honest classroom atmosphere.
